Gift Card Giveaway!!

Ok, we all know I have a bit of a thing for paint, right?

I've tried just about every paint out there, and some have led to wonderful, simple, peaceful, joyful . . . (got the idea?) Painting experiences. And sometimes, not so much. I end up with orange peely, drippy, chunky, yucky, hard to distress, want to throw a paint brush at something painting experiences.

So here's the low down on one of my favorite paints for painting furniture--as opposed to painting walls.  There's a difference you say?
Yep--horizontal vs. vertical surfaces.

The guys at Sherman Williams gave me a great little tutorial on painting horizontal surfaces--which tend to dry slower & can have "blocking" problems--you know when you set something down on a painted surface and it sticks--that's call "blocking."

Well, the All Surface Enamel from Sherman Williams is designed to work on either horizontal or vertical surfaces. And it went on beautifully. Distressing? A breeze! Sanded right away without any clumping or gooeying up.  Dried super fast and hard. I mean really hard.
Nail mark proof in hours.
Gotta say I really, really love working with this stuff.  And for those of you who use a sprayer like I do--goes through the gun great!

Here are a few pieces I've done with the All Surface Enamel.

Am I getting paid to tell you this--Nope. Just being helpful. I like to pass along any info I get that helps keep others from "reinventing the wheel" as I call it.
Sherman Williams and I have teamed up on a gift card giveaway to help get you started on your next paint project!!

(Hubby wants me to be extra clear here--I'm getting nothing--I just asked Sherman Williams if they wanted to join me in a give away.
And I'm doing a give away just because everyone likes em'!)

One lucky winner will get a
$25 Sherman Williams Gift card
from Sherman Williams

and a

$25 cash gift card
from me!

That's $50 bucks to get started on a project! heck, if you're as cheap frugal as me you could redo a whole room with that. ;P
