OK, so I'll be the first to admit it. I'm sorta addicted. Just Sorta.
I really like silver leaf.
Really.
Lucky for me, my new found obsession coincides with two custom orders needing a little bling, bling.
Oh, sweet serendipity. ;)
Here's a little bombe dresser redone with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Paris Grey on the body, Paris Grey & Old White Striae on the drawers, and Graphite underneath silver leafing on the details.
The entire piece was triple waxed--first Annie Sloan Clear Soft Wax to seal it, Dark Soft Wax to antique it, and another coat of Clear Soft Wax to finish it up!
Purty, Purty!
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for bringing my vision to fruition! All those classes and training have paid off and I'm a lucky recipient. This beauty will be proudly displayed in our Guest Room. That's 2 now of Jess masterpieces in my home. The first piece get's many compliments and I can only imagine how much this new re-purposed bombe' will be admired. It was so dark and heavy before now it's the blingy jewel in the crown she was meant to be(-; It made the marble top special instead of lost in a sea of gold and mahogony heaviness.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess, another gold star***
