Ok, sometimes things are just TOO pretty.
I'm all about pink and fru-fru for little ballerinas, but sometimes you want your pink a little dirty. You know what I mean?
Here's Annie Sloan's newest Chalk Paint color Antoinette. The prettiest shade of soft pink, lovely for little girls. But for big girls, IMO it's needs to be a little dirty.
Yum. Love dirty furniture.
My purty little girly frames. Painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Antoinette and straight to Dark Soft Wax. Then I used mineral spirits to wash off all the Dark Soft Wax on the highlights. You can also use Clear Soft Wax as a magic eraser to remove excess Dark Soft Wax.
Normally I ALWAYS suggest you use Clear Soft Wax first as Annie teaches. EXCEPT when you actually want to change the color of the paint.
Graphite straight to Dark Soft Wax makes a beautiful, sophisticated soft black
Barcelona Orange straight to Dark Soft Wax deepens the color into a wonderful burnt orange.
Antibes Green straight to Dark Soft Wax makes a pretty light emerald green.
Go ahead, don't be afraid of dirtying it up anymore!
